Coldplay - The Scientist

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you
And tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets, And ask me your questions
Oh let's go back to the start

Running in circles, Coming in tails
Heads on a science apart

Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start

I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Don't speak as loud as my heart
And tell me you love me, Come back and haunt me
Oh when I rush to the start

Running in circles, Chasing tails
Coming back as we are

Nobody said it was easy
Oh it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I'm going back to the start

Video game therapy helps in the treatment of visual impairment

Amblyopia, also known as "lazy eye" is a failure of normal development of the visual system that can cause the reduction or loss of vision. Currently the most common treatment is the occlusion, ie, the use of a buffer during childhood that forces the poor development of the eye. However, the practice is no longer effective after eight years of age.
In search of new methods to combat amblyopia, UC Berkeley researchers conducted a study using common video games in the treatment of young people and adults, which have had very interesting results. The therapy with video games was used to treat a group of 20 people between 15 and 61 years with amblyopia.
The patients participated of several sessions of 2 hours of play (totaling 40 hours). The volunteers were divided into two groups: the first was subjected to rounds of Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault while the second group combined sessions of the game SimCity Societies using the technique of occlusion of the "good" eye.
The study demonstrated an improvement of the visual acuity and three-dimensional perception. According to Dr. Roger Li, author and coordinator of research, this is the first concrete proof that video games can help in the recovery of visual acuity in adults with amblyopia.
Remembering that at the beginning of the year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), a game controlled by the movement of the eyes showed another application of games in the treatment of amblyopia.

God is in Dendrites

The text "God is in Dendrites", speaks about experiencies made with people of the different religions to know if God exists or if is only things of ours heads.
The John Templeton foundation hopes to find God in science, they said that God can't be found in anywhere, It is just found in the electrical crackling of ours  brains.
Ours meditating neurons, are capable to activate most of our brain cortex, they grow a lot, so is explicained more on trancelike states, but it has two different ways of the explin all this. The believers take them as scientific evidence for the reality of their vision, while the atheists claim more proof that God is all in our head.
The brain and everything that it is able to do, are the most important things in this text, and whitout it, the things would be different, it is able to do unimaginable things, and it is what takes us to this world of imaginations.
